Moraine Lake access, explained
Moraine Lake Road is closed to personal vehicles year-round. Visitors arrive by Parks Canada shuttle, on foot or bike, or with a licensed commercial tour. Parks Canada shuttle seats sell out fast, and the Lake Louise lakeshore parking lot fills early on summer mornings.
Our Moraine Lake and Lake Louise tours remove the guesswork: we pick you up, drive you to both lakes, give you time to walk the Rockpile and the Lake Louise shoreline, and bring you back.
Find your style
Your own vehicle, driver and guide — perfect for families, couples, photographers and multi-generation groups. Set your pace, linger where you love, skip what you don’t. Hotel pickup in Banff, Canmore or Calgary.
Great value with the same local drivers. Join our Moraine Lake & Lake Louise shuttle or a full-day small-group tour to Johnston Canyon and the Icefields Parkway — without the big-bus feel.

For tour operators, DMCs & travel trade
Signature Banff Tours is the tour division of Signature Charters, a Calgary-based charter company with 52–56 seat motorcoaches, mini coaches and Sprinters.
